Montague LOYD or LLOYD 1683/4-1723
Biographical Note
Son of John Loyd, of London. BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1703, fellow 1705, MA 1706, BD 1713, DD 1717. Rector of Barnwell, Northamptonshire 1714.
Books
Loyd used an engraved armorial bookplate, dated 1706, Franks 18492/*231 (reworked); the extent and disposition of his library is not known. The administration of his estate was registered in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury in 1723.
