Francis BRYDGES d.1714
Biographical Note
Younger son of James Brydges, 8th Baron Chandos, of Wilton Castle, Herefordshire (1642-1714); receiver-general of duties on salt.
Books
Brydges used two engraved armorial bookplate, of different sizes (Franks *195/*223); the extent of his library is not known; in his will, he directed that all his goods be bequeathed to his wife, including his "books, cloathes and lynnen, my coach and chariott, and chaise [etc]".
