Biographical Note
Son of Giles Pockocke of Reading, gentleman. BA Christ Church, Oxford 1692, MA 1695. Vicar of Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.
Books
Pococke's library was auctioned in Oxford, 28.2.1711. The sale catalogue contains 2981 lots, divided between Latin theology and miscellaneous (1207 lots), English divinity and miscelleaneous (1382), "libri medici" (52), and French, Italian and other languages (340).
