Thomas LEIGH 1634/5-1686
Biographical Note
Son of Thomas Leigh, of Bishops Stortford, Essex, schoolmaster. BA Christ's College, Cambridge 1654, MA 1657, BD 1664; fellow of Emmanuel 1657. Rector of Glendon, Northamptonshire 1666, Vicar of Bishops Stortford and master of the grammar school there 1680.
Books
Books of Leigh's were acquired by Ralph Freman (d.1774), fellow of All Souls, Oxford, who bequeathed them (with his other books) to All Souls; Craster notes that many 16th and 17th century pamphlets constitute an interesting part of this collection.
