Biographical Note
BA Peterhouse, Cambridge 1533, fellow 1536, MA 1537; he subsequently became the innholder of the White Hart in St Edward's parish, in Cambridge.

Gosynell's probate inventory includes ca.40 books, valued at £1 15s 4d (from a total estate valued at just over £100); they were stored in a study, hung with parchment and an old map. The books are mostly in Latin, and include theology, classics and medicine. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.60 (see full citation below).
