Biographical Note
Assumed to be the Joseph Starr who is listed as a liveried cooper of London in the two poll-books listed in the sources below. One of the parties to a mortgage deed of 1705 in the Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre (BK52/8) about a house and land in the parish of Little Hereford was ‘Joseph Starr, citizen and cooper of London, and Rebekah his wife’.
