William MAYNARD, 2nd Baron Maynard 1623-1699
Biographical Note
Son of William Maynard, 1st Baron Maynard, from whom he inherited the title and family estates in 1640. MP for Calne 1640, Comptroller of the royal household 1640-89.
Books
Maynard's house at Westoe Manor, Cambridgeshire was noted as including a library of ca. 220 books in 1660.
