Biographical Note
Of Derbyshire; BA Jesus College, Cambridge 1672, MA 1677. Usher at Repton School, 1672-76, Master of Ashbourne School 1677-1712, rector of Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire, 1702-07.
Books
Hardesty's library was sold by auction in London, beginning 20 February 1716. No catalogue survives but the sale was advertised in The Daily Courant as "a collection of very curious books of the best editions".
