John MOUNTFORD or MOUNTFORT 1681-1731
Biographical Note
Son of Samuel Mountford of London, clergyman. BA Trinity College, Oxford 1702, MA 1705, BMed 1708, DMed 1712. He practised as a physician in London where he was admitted a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1729.
Books
Mountford's will has no mention of books; his household goods and the residue of his estate was left to his wife Anne. His library was auctioned in London, beginning 9 February 1732.
