Biographical Note
Son of Thomas Merry of Milton Abbas, Dorset. BA New Inn Hall, Oxford 1674. Vicar of Stourpaine, Dorset 1677; rector of Steepleton Iwerne, 1691.

Merry's library was sold by retail sale in London, 5.10.1703 (no catalogue survives).
