Biographical Note
Came from Kent to Cambridge, BA St John's 1572/3, fellow 1574, and MA 1576.
Books
Roberts' probate inventory includes over 70 books, valued at £6 12s 11d (from a total estate valued at £19 9s 2d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Hebrew, Greek and English. The subjects covered were predominantly rhetoric, theology, philosophy,and grammar. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.145 (see full citation below).
