Frances SCUDAMORE or DIGBY, Viscountess Scudamore 1684-1729
Biographical Note
Daughter of Simon Digby, 4th Baron Digby, of Coleshill, Warwickshire. In 1707 she married James Scudamore, 3rd Viscount Scudamore, of Holme Lacy, Herefordshire, who died in 1716.
Books
Scudamore used an engraved armorial bookplate, made sometime after her husband's death in 1716 (the arms are on a lozenge; Franks 26376). The extent and disposition of her library are not known.
