John NOBLE fl.ca.1725

Books

The owner of an early 18th-century bookpile design bookplate of "John Noble, clerk" (Franks 21930) has not been identified. Lee notes that the arms might be those of the Noble family of Rearsby, Leicestershire, though the heraldic tinctures are not quite right.
