William COCHRANE of Kilmaronock 1659?-1717

William Cochrane's bookplate (British Museum Franks Collection *494)

Biographical Note

The second son of William Cochrane, styled Lord Cochrane (eldest son of William Cochrane, 1st Earl of Dundonald). He sat in the Scottish Parliament 1689–1695 and 1702–1707 and in the British Parliament 1708–1713.
