Robert ARBUTHNOTT, 4th Viscount of Arbuthnott 1686-1710
Biographical Note
Son of Robert Arbuthnott (1661-94), 3rd Viscount. The family seat is Arbuthnott House, Arbuthnott, near Inverbervie, Kincardineshire. The Viscounts are the hereditary chiefs of the Clan Arbuthnott. The 4th Viscount died young and was unmarried. The title passed to his brother John Arbuthnott, 5th Viscount (1692-1756).
