Thomas PAKEMAN d.ca.1715?

Biographical Note

An untraced individual described in his sale catalogue as being ‘of Bednall Green [i.e. Bethnal Green], lately deceased’. Alston’s identification of him as the independent minister of that name (ca.1614-91, see ODNB) seems doubtful, as this Pakeman was buried at a church in the City, had no recorded connection with Bethnal Green, and was more than ‘lately’ deceased in 1715.

Books

‘part of the library’ of Pakeman was auctioned in London, beginning 30 March 1715. The short catalogue comprises only English books, with 342 lots in all (57 folio, 31 quarto, 254 octavo); we do not know what other books this man had.
