Biographical Note

Described as a fellow of St Catharine's College, Cambridge, but not traced in Venn.

Books

Brooke's library was auctioned in London, 21.3.1681. The sale catalogue contains 1662 lots, divided between Latin and Greek theology (482 lots), Latin philology (i.e. miscellaneous) (605), divinity (362), English philology (177), and 36 volumes of quarto pamphlets.
