Thomas BOOTHBY 1641-96

Armorial stamp of Thomas Boothby? (British Armorial Bindings)

Biographical Note

Of Delfa House, Staffordshire, son of Thomas Boothby of Tooley Park, Leicestershire, nephew of Sir William Boothby.

Books

A number of books with an armorial stamp of the Boothby crest (A lion's foot erased erect) are attributed to him in the Armorials Database. One has an inscription "Tho: Boothby", while others have the inscription of William Boothby. Is this is fact another stamp used by Sir William?
