Biographical Note

BA Sr John's College, Cambridge 1584, MA 1587, BD 1594, DD 1608. Vicar of Spratton, Northamptonshire 1591; Archdeacon of Northampton 1611. He became closely associated with clergymen who became leading figures in the emergent Arminian movement, like Richard Neile and John Buckeridge.
