Thomas PALMER d.1640
Biographical Note
BA Emmanuel College, Cambridge 1617, MA Magdalen College, Oxford 1620. Ordained 1623 by Theophilus Field, Bishop of Llandaff; Vicar of Bedminster, Somerset and of St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol from 1623 until his death.
Books
Palmer’s probate inventory includes “books”, in the study, valued at £60 (from a total estate valued at £190). The study also included a desk and boxes (valued at 13s 4d), and “a little table board, one chair, one curtain and curtain rods and a case of shelves” (12s). Plate valued at £30 was also held in the study.
