Catherine WINDHAM d.1704
Biographical Note
Member of the Windham family of Felbrigg Hall, Norfolk. Relation to William and Thomas Windham.
Books
The library at Felbrigg has numerous books with William's signature and sometimes date of acquisition. Catherine used an engraved armorial bookplate, and kept records of her own books in notebooks. Subsequent members of the family (Ashe, 1673-1749, William II, 1717-61, William III, 1750-1810) continued to acquire books and their inscriptions can also be found across the library.
