Henry BEAUMONT 1717-1743
Biographical Note
Son of Richard Beaumont of Whitley Beaumont, near Huddersfield. He inherited the estate from his father in 1723 and when he died unmarried 20 years later it passed to his younger brother Richard.

Beaumont used an engraved armorial bookplate, "Henry Beaumont, of Whitley Hall, Yorkshire" (Franks 1961); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
