Robert WENSLEY or WENSELEY 1647?-1689

Biographical Note

Born at Walsoken, Norfolk, son of Robert Wensley, gentleman. BA Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge 1666, MA 1669. Vicar of Cheshunt, Hertfordshire 1672, chaplain to James, Earl of Shrewsbury.

Wensley's library was auctioned in Cheshunt, 17.6.1689 (550 lots).
