Biographical Note
Bealing was a gentleman of London, whose dwelling house was in Burlington Street.
Books
Bealing's library, which included "uncommon and valuable books... some curious manuscripts, and books of prints" was sold at auction in London from 19 April 1725. A second auction of Bealing's books seems to have taken place on 7 June 1727 in Covent Garden, London, which Alston suggests could be an indication that Bealing had separate libraries in London and Cornwall: the later sale describes its contents as "all the valuable library of books late of Richard Arundel Bealing, Esq; brought from his seat in Cornwall". Both sales were advertised in the Daily Post.
