Thomas RICHMOND ca.1664-1731
Biographical Note
Son of the MP Edmund Webb and Jane Smith of Rodbourne Cheney and Fifield, Wiltshire. Admitted to the Middle Temple in 1683, and called to the bar in 1689. MP for Calne in 1685, Cricklade in 1702, and Devizes in 1710. Clerk of alienations 1689 until his death; solicitor to Prince George by 1692-1708; serjeant-at-law from 1705 until his death. Married 1. Elizabeth Thomson; 2. Mary Dolman.

He had an engraved armorial bookplate dated 1703: 24981; *408 (another impression).
