Biographical Note
Of Hulme Hall, Lancashire. Heavy financial penalties imposed for supporting the royalist cause during the Civil War left him impoverished, and he sold Hulme Hall to Sir Edward Mosley in 1660. The baronetcy became extinct after the death of his son (also Thomas) in 1676.
