Nicholas POLLEXFEN 1678-1715
Biographical Note
Son of Nicholas Pollexfen, of St Stephen Walbrook, London, a wealthy merchant. After his father died in the late 1680s he fell out with his family. MP for Great Bedwyn, 1705-08; excise commissioner 1710-12.

Pollexfen used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks *423); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
