George MONTGOMERIE d.1732
Biographical Note
He is assumed to be the George Mongomerie, son and heir of John Montgomerie ‘of the city of Edenborough, esq.’, who was admitted to the Middle Temple in 1709. He had property at Horndon on the Hill, Essex. Married to Abigail Turner, and father of George Montgomerie MP.

He had an engraved armorial bookplate ('George Montgomerie, Esqr.'): Franks 20918.
His will makes no reference to books, and the content and disposition of his library are not established.
