Robert ROBINSON 1713?-1770
Biographical Note
Younger son of Bryan Robinson, physician, of Dublin. MA Trinity College, Dublin 1735, MD 1740, lecturer in anatomy, 1741-61. He developed a successful medical practice in Dublin, and was state physician 1743-70; he was a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and a governor of Dr Steevens Hospital.
Books
Robinson used an engraved armorial bookplate, dated 1742; the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
