Biographical Note
Parish clerk, and school teacher, of St Stephen, Bristol.
Books
Marston’s probate inventory includes “one old cradle full of books”, valued at 13s 4d, together with one Greek and Latin [New] Testament, one Latin Bible and “two dictionaries, Rider’s and Thomasin’s” collectively valued at 12s 6d; the total estate was valued at £31. The inventory does not refer to a study and it is not clear where the books were stored.
