Robert WOOD b.1712/3
Biographical Note
Born at Shrewsbury, son of Robert Wood, druggist. He matriculated at St John's College, Cambridge in 1728 but nothing further is known of his career, and there is no record that he graduated.
Books
Wood used an engraved armorial bookplate, noting his membership of St John's College (Franks 32397); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
