Books
Brisley's probate inventory includes over 50 books, valued at £8 5s 0d (from a total estate valued at £19 4s 10d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some French, Italian, Hebrew and Spanish. They are predominantly legal in nature, with some lexicography, theology, geography and other subjects. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.172 (see full citation below).
