The library of "the late Mr. Williams, that eminent teacher of the mathematics; consisting of all his manuscripts in most branches of that science, in twenty volumes in folio" was auctioned in London, on 13 January 1729, along with some books in various languages belonging to the Duke of Wharton. No catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Journal and Daily Post.
