Benjamin CARTER d.1727

Biographical Note

Of Surrey. BA Jesus College, Cambridge 1704, MA 1707; the advertisement for his book sale describes him as DD. Rector of St Martin Outwich, London, 1719, vicar of West Ham 1725; he was also a royal chaplain.

Books

Carter's library was auctioned in London, beginning 9 December 1728. No catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Post.
