Sir John HOBY, 2nd bart 1635-1702
Biographical Note
Son of Peregrine Hoby of Bisham Abbey, Berkshire, MP and landowner. His elder brother Edward Hoby was created a baronet in 1666, and John inherited the title and estate from him in 1675.
Books
Edward Bernard's Catalogi manuscriptorum, 1697, lists Hoby as owning 23 manuscripts.
