Son of Jeremiah Browning of Bury St Edmunds. BA Pembroke College, Cambridge 1636, MA 1639, DD 1661. Rector of Wickham Bishops, Essex.

Books

Browning was involved in the Civil War as a royalist chaplain, sequestrated in 1646 when he was said to have £40 worth of books in his chamber at Cambridge.
