Katherine NORTH fl.1729

Biographical Note

Daughter of Charles 5th Baron North and Katharine Grey; sister of Dudleya and William, with whom, along with her other brother Charles she was probably tutored under the guardianship of their uncle, Roger North, following their father's death.

Books

She had a printed book label ('E Libris / Katherine North / Her Book 17 ')(Lee 494), similar in style of that used by her cousin Montague North. An example in the Franks Collection has the manuscript completion of '29' to indicate a year of acquisition.
