Biographical Note

BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1676, MA 1679. Rector of Methley, Yorkshire 1687, prebendary of York 1708.

Atkinson's library was auctioned in London, 31.10.1710, as part of a joint sale with the books of Isaac Barrow.
