Chambres's bookplate (British Museum Franks Collection 5530)

Biographical Note

Son of Edward Chambres of Henllan, Denbighshire. BA Jesus College, Oxford 1711, MA 1713. Vicar of Dartford, Kent 1718-46.

Books

Chambres used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 5530); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
