====Biographical Note====
Daughter of [[crossreference::Ferdinando Fairfax]], 2nd Baron Fairfax; she married [[family::William Cartwright]] (1634-76) of [[location::Aynho, Northamptonshire]]. Few biographical details survive but as she was buried at Aynho she presumably continued to live there during her widowhood; her son [[family::Thomas Cartwright|Thomas]] (1671-1748) was [[occupation::MP]] for [[location::Northamptonshire]] from 1695 until his death.

====Books====
An anonymous bookplate with the arms of Cartwright impaling Fairfax, on a lozenge, is attributed to her (Franks *304); the extent and disposition of her library is not known.
