Dillingham's library was [[auction::auctioned]] in [[location of auction::London]], [[date of death::29.11.1680]], as part of a joint sale with the books of [[crossreference::Henry Stubbes|Henry Stubb]], [[crossreference::Thomas Cawton 1642-1677|Thomas Cawton]], [[crossreference::John Dunton]] and [[crossreference::Thomas Vincent]]; the sale catalogue runs to over 13,000 lots but does not distinguish which books came from which source.
